ABOUT
My name is Connor Ryan and I am a Photographer, FAA-certified Drone Operator, and Videographer in Memphis, Tennessee. I built my brand locally by capturing the cityscapes and natural beauty of Memphis. I now offer a lot of these photos as prints.
My photo & video journey began in September 2017, right after I had taken my first full time position as a credit analyst after graduating from the University of Memphis with a Finance degree. I quickly realized banking was not something I could do for the rest of my life, so I looked around for other options. Thankfully, I discovered Casey Neistat on YouTube, who was making daily video blogs and going on lots of adventures every single day. I thought this was the coolest thing I had ever seen, so I went and immediately bought my own camera. It turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made.
I have been serving clients as a freelancer since 2018, and I went full time with my business in 2022. I have since worked with many prominent Memphis brands as well as national companies and brands. My work takes me all across America and hopefully the world too eventually.
NEW YORK TIMES PUBLISHED
From 2021 to 2023, I was highly involved in capturing the process of Tom Lee Park’s major overhaul through photography and video. This culminated in my drone photo of the Sunset Canopy being published in the New York Times.
